In the USA, the bearing of arms is legal and the reason is to protect yourself. Be careful, gun laws vary from state to state, you need to get a permit but also you must be at least twenty-one years old to buy it and meet the criteria including criminal record check.

The problem are the attacks in schools and the accidents. The majority of weapons are obtained illegaly. People authorized to carry a weapon are called "concealed carry permit". Despite regulations and contracts, the carrying of weapons remains problematic, causing more harm than safety.
