There are many different ways to be influenced (I will not talk about social media in this text).

First through the family. The family influences a lot who you are/ are going to be and how you/ you will behave. For example, if you live in a lower social class household, you would be more likely to own less stuff (clothes, toys, etc.). And more likely to own/buy second hand and refurbished items. It will make you more sensitive to the buying of second hand/refurbished and not participate in overconsumption when you grow up. Which, in a way means you’re thinking about your purchases and your ecological footprint. This is only valid for little part of that lower class population. The biggest part, are people who don’t have much money but will still buy a lot of clothes/stuff, whom are branded, thus more expensive. I have the feeling that the fact that the items are from a specific brand is important to them, because it maybe helps with belonging to a group. I don’t find it very logical to do it, but it’s their choice so they do what they want Secondly, through school. When you are in school, the opinions of your classmates and your teachers about the subjects seen in classes will influence you. It's a bit related to social pressure, if most of the class has the same opinion (good or bad, I'm not here to judge, or just a bit), you will be more likely to say to the others that you are of the same opinion as them. And you will question your own opinion which is totally not a bad idea, you must always be able to re-think your ideologies and change them. Last but not least, friends. Your friends are a really important factor in building your own opinion but are also an influence factor. They are important for your own opinion because you will be able to hear and see multiple point of views about multiple situations and subjects. It will help you build your own and think for yourself without your families influence nor the school's. But the problem is that it could also be a problem, you could be influenced by them, or you could change your opinions to belong and be member of a group. Which is really bad because it means that you don't think by yourself anymore This all means that every factor is important to build yourself, create your own opinion with the help of all the points of views. But it can be dangerous too, you will be influenced which is not too bad, because, like I said you need to always be able to re-think and re-build your opinion.
